Reservoir Dogs
Crime thriller
A group of criminals planning to rob a bank fall apart when their plans all go pear-shaped. Amongst the bloodbath it becomes apparent that there is a traitor among them.
Taking cover in a nearby warehouse, the individual characters begin to develop itchy trigger fingers and tempers shorten. In an attempt to uncover the traitor they must retrace their steps and figure out who set them up.
Tarantino's debut is violent, bloody, sweary and adult in every thinkable way. And yet, perhaps even more disturbingly, there lies a small amount of pitch-black humour underneath the barrage of blood and expletives. If you can stomach its general nastiness, there is quite a good film to be found here.

Robocop
Sci-fi Thriller
Alex Murphy is brutally murdered by a merciless criminal in a warehouse. Literally blown apart with shotguns, there was no way he could have survived, but instead doctors attempt to rebuild him as a half-human, half-machine 'robocop' who is dedicated to serving justice and imprisoning criminals. Extremely naff, but very entertaining.

Robocop 2
Sci-fi thriller
The sequel to the hilarious and exciting 'Robocop' fails to engage the viewer's interest whatsoever, with a non-existent plot and numerous failed attempts at humour. The film is way too long and I actually found myself yawning at several points throughout. Very, very poor.
